Shad “Bow Wow” Moss

From the young age of 3, Shad Moss, most commonly known by stage name Lil Bow Wow (or just Bow Wow) became interested with rap music. By the age of 6, being an N.W.A. fan, he began rapping, under the name ‘Kid Gangsta’. Around that same time in 1993, during a performance in Los Angeles he caught the eye of rapper Snoop Dogg who renamed him, Lil Bow Wow. By the time he was 11, Bow Wow met his would-be mentor Jermaine Dupree, who helped launch his career from there. In 2000 his debut album Beware of Dog with hits Bow Wow (that’s my name) ft Snoop Dogg and Puppy Love. Since then, Bow Wow has released another 5 albums, and has a new album set to release in 2017. Aside from his celebrated music career, Bow Wow has also gone to star in movies like Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift in 2006 and was a host for MTV’s 106 & Park.
